2010-2012 GMC Canyon

Some customers may question if their iPod(R) will charge through the accessory PAL (Personal Audio Link) or PDIM (Personal Device Interface

Module).

Apple(R) changed their iPod charging system from a 12v charging system to a 5v charging system on the new versions of iPods.

Owners with a newer version iPod will require a separate charge cable. Refer to the following list of which iPod will charge with GM PAL or PDIM

and which won't:

- iPod Shuffle (3rd Generation) - Adapter Required

- iPod Classic (102GB) - Will charge

- iPod Touch (2nd generation) - Adapter Required

- iPod Nano (4th Generation) - Adapter Required
